How many new or hardly worn items do you have in your wardrobe? Impulse buys that you just don’t love? Why not swap for something you love and do your bit for charity? Here’s your chance to indulge in a spot of swishing (as featured on BBC Radio 4’s The Archers, no less!).
There will be a Ladies’ Swishing Party on Saturday 5th October 2013, from 12 noon until 4pm, in Dennistoun New Parish Church hall on Armadale Street, in aid of Cancer Research UK.
Just take at least one item and swap for the same number of items to take home (i.e take 3 along, take 3 back home). Suitable items are new/lightly worn ladies clothes, shoes, bags and accessories, and children’s clothes.
There will also be a raffle, and tasty home baking available. Tickets are £5 on the door, with 100% of the ticket price going to Cancer Research.
