Glasgow Caledonian University are hosting a free public lecture: “How to Run 100 Metres (in 90 Minutes!)”.
More than 100,000 extra tickets across all 17 sports – from Athletics to Rugby Sevens, Badminton to Weightlifting – as well as both the Opening and Closing Ceremonies will be available on a first-come, first-served basis from 10am on Monday 12 May. Ticket prices remain unchanged, starting from just £15 for adults and £7.50 for concessions (under-16s and over-60s).
A family fun day will be taking place on the 10th April at The Bridge in Easterhouse. Free entry.
Tickets to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games are now on sale – and there are only 10 days left for you to apply for them! The application period will close on 16 September.
A range of east end Glasgow groups and organisations come together in Dennistoun on Saturday 27th July to put on the fourth annual Alexandra Park Festival 2013.
The event runs from 12 noon until 4pm, and entry is free.
It will be a great fun day out for everyone, with lots of attractions including food, sports, live music, art and craft market, inflatables, information stalls, and prizes to be won.
