Before the venue is handed over for the Commonwealth Games, a Free Football scheme is being run at the Emirates Arena for Glasgow Young Scot card holders, until Friday 6th June, with a view to extending this beyond the Games.
If you’re under 18 years old you can play for free with Glasgow Sport, with hourly sessions between 5pm and 10pm on Fridays. You don’t have to have 10 players, you could just turn up with a few of your mates for a kick about.
To book your pitch, which you can do up to 7 days in advance and are subject to availability (first come, first serve), all you will need is:
- At least one Young Scot Card
- Under 8’s to be accompanied by an over 16 yr old.
