Glasgow’s Housing Strategy 2017-2022

Glasgow's Housing Strategy
Glasgow’s Housing Strategy

The second consultation draft of Glasgow’s Housing Strategy 2017-2022 refines and elaborates on issues following detailed feedback from the first consultation. Some parts remain largely unchanged while other parts have been significantly altered. The draft is now available at www.glasgow.gov.uk/draftstrategy.

The strategic priorities have been reduced from ten to six following comments from the first consultation. The changes are summarised on pages six and seven of the document. Links to the current strategy have been made by splitting the strategic priorities into two themes covering housing supply and improving access. More details about the themes can be found on pages five and six. Welfare reform, because of its potential impact, is reflected throughout the document.

As part of this consultation, the following questions are being asked:

  • Do you agree with the text and actions we have included?
  • What issues we have missed or should include?
  • Any other general comments?

Please have a look at the document and submit any comments you have by Monday 21st November 2016.

Responses can either be sent via email to HousingStrategy@glasgow.gov.uk or by post to Housing and Regeneration Services, 2nd Floor, 231 George Street, Glasgow, G1 1QU
