On the 10th January 2017, Kevin Stewart MSP, Minister for Local Government and Housing, launched “Places, People and Planning: A consultation of the future of the Scottish Planning System”.

The consultation paper is available to view online at http://www.gov.scot/Publications/2017/01/3486 and associated research has been published alongside it. The updated participation statement is also available.

Responses to the consultation should be submitted to the Planning and Architecture Division of the Scottish Government by 5pm on Tuesday 4th April 2017.
