During a community consultation carried out last year by Anne McLaughlin MP, it became very clear that something constituents care very much about is green and open space across the constituency. Anne initiated a project – “Changing the Landscape” – tasked with investigating this topic and reporting back to constituents.
Consequently, there will be an open public meeting on Saturday 28th May, from 1pm – 3pm, at James McGrory Park (home of St Roch’s FC), 713 Royston Rd, Glasgow, G21 2DT – just North of Alexandra Park. Map here.
An important part of the meeting will be to explain what the new Community Empowerment Act legislation is, and how to use it to make Glasgow North East the best it can be in the future.
Tea and coffee will be provided.
I would have liked to go to the meeting but I can’t make it. I hope you can report back about it so other people who can’t attend can still follow what’s happening.
