The Duke Street Expo will take place on Saturday 31st May 2014 as part of the East End Social programme of concerts, events and workshops, appealing to visitors and East End residents of all ages. The East End Social is an official Culture 2014 event.

Young Scot Free Football
Before the venue is handed over for the Commonwealth Games, a Free Football scheme is being run at the Emirates Arena for Glasgow Young Scot card holders, until Friday 6th June, with a view to extending this beyond the Games.

Last Big Chance To Buy Glasgow 2014 Tickets
More than 100,000 extra tickets across all 17 sports – from Athletics to Rugby Sevens, Badminton to Weightlifting – as well as both the Opening and Closing Ceremonies will be available on a first-come, first-served basis from 10am on Monday 12 May. Ticket prices remain unchanged, starting from just £15 for adults and £7.50 for concessions (under-16s and over-60s).

Dennistoun Community Council Constitution
The locality covered by Dennistoun Community Council (DCC) has a population of 15,823 and its aim is to ascertain, coordinate and express the views of the wider community. In doing so, it abides by a set of formal rules which govern the operation of Community Councils across Glasgow. These rules were recently updated and, as a result, DCC has a new constitution.

The next meeting of Dennistoun Community Council will take place on Tuesday 13th May, 7pm at the Gingerbread Hall, 128 Armadale Street, Dennistoun, G31 2TL.
