Alexandra Park sees the return of the second annual Glasgow East Parks festival on Saturday 23rd July 2011, between 12 noon and 4pm. Entry is free to all.
The Festival will bring Dennistoun’s Alexandra Park to life as local east end organisations collaborate to bring a programme of events for people of all ages.
Family fun attractions will include live music with local bands on stage, local market stalls, arts and crafts, art attack, treasure hunt, wrestling, laser quest, giant inflatables, bouncy castle, sports, badminton, football, hockey, sailing, prize draws, and refreshments.
Dennistoun Community Council and Dennistoun Conservation Society will also have a shared stall there, so come along and say hello – you’ll be able to find us set up near to the caricaturist!
