A day of sharing food, music, fun, and plants!
Dennistoun Diggers are holding a Grand Opening for their Community Garden, at 42-44 Circus Drive, between 2pm and 5pm on Sunday July 3rd 2011.
Come along to an afternoon that will include the following activities: live music, barbecue, treasure hunt, recycling, face painting, seedling swap, planting, cup cakes and home baking, books, and much, much more!
Music will be provided by Dennistoun’s own Findlay Napier, and Average Andy.
This is the official launch of the Community Garden and Dennistoun Diggers would love to see as many people as possible there! So go along and meet some like-minded people in your community, and plant a few veggies or flowers while you’re there.
All welcome. All activities, including barbecue, are free (but you are encouraged to take some food along, to share if possible).
