The Friends of Glasgow Necropolis are keen to record your stories to add to the knowledge of First World War via a friendly and informal oral history drop-in event.
Perhaps you have a relative who is remembered in the Necropolis? Did a friend or family member take part in the fighting of the First World War or perhaps work in Glasgow’s munitions factories? Do you have photos, medals or memorabilia you would like to talk about?
Get along and share your stories at St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art on Saturday 28th March 12 pm until 3 pm. All welcome.
This is part of a Heritage Lottery funded project. If you would like further information please contact Fiona at Archaeology Scotland via f.watson@archaeologyscotland.org.uk
