The Friends of Glasgow Necropolis are keen to record your stories to add to the knowledge of First World War via a friendly and informal oral history drop-in event.
You are invited to join some Dennistoun folk in celebrating the coming of springtime with some fresh air and gentle exercise.
Due to the success of the tours in 2013, The Friends of Glasgow Necropolis are delighted to announce their walking tour dates for 2014. These informal and informative tours of the Glasgow Necropolis will be undertaken, weather permitting, as per the dates noted below.
From the Necropolis, which provides a safe haven for 180 species of flowering plants and trees, to the duck pond at Alexandra Park, Dennistoun’s parks also host a diversity of flora and fauna, attracting interest from scientists and nature-lovers alike. And now there’s a chance to celebrate them as part of a citywide competition being run by the Glasgow Science Festival.
The Friends Of Glasgow Necropolis have announced their guided walking tour dates for July to December 2012.
