There will be a free screening of the film Gasland on Thursday 25th October at 6pm at Wellpark Community Hall, McIntosh Street, G31 2AQ (off Duke Street, between Lidl and Tennent’s). Dennistoun Diggers are the hosts.
Gasland is an documentary film on the safety and environmental concerns of natural gas extraction by hydraulic fracturing (aka ‘fracking’, associated with allegations of residents being able to light their tap water on fire).
Free refreshments and popcorn. No entry fee. Everyone welcome.
