This year’s Alexandra Park Festival takes place between 12 noon and 4 pm on Saturday 29th July 2017. Free entry. A carnival procession will leaving City Park at 12 noon.

Come and join in the summer festivities with lots to do for all the family. Enjoy live music, children activities and inflatibles, carnival drummers, community market stalls, arts & crafts, and tasty food. A great day out for everyone.

Dennistoun Community Council will host a general election hustings for the Glasgow North East constituency on Friday 2nd June 2017 in the Large Church Hall, Everlasting Arms Ministry, 12 Whitehill Street, Dennistoun, Glasgow, G31 2LH. Doors open 7pm for a 7:15pm start, to be concluded by 8:45pm.

Pedal On Parliament 2017

Pedal On Parliament 2017

Pedal on Parliament is a free, family friendly event on Sunday 23rd April at 1pm (gathering from 12:30pm). It’s a short ride from Glasgow Green (McLennan Arch) to a demo in George Square. It’s on closed roads so even wee kids can ride/skate/skoot along. You can join in on your own bike or a hire bike (there’s a free offer on the day – see below). Alternatively, you can walk the route (if you get down the front for 1pm).
