£15,000 will be given out in grants to local organisations in Dennistoun, Haghill, Alexandra Parade, Carntyne, Cranhill, Riddrie, and Gartcraig.
On Tuesday 9th October DCC Chair Stephen Birrell presented the 2012 Dennistoun Treasure Hunt prizes to the winning children from each Dennistoun primary school.
The Dennistoun Treasure hunt is back! It’s an event that has taken place yearly since 2009, firstly hosted by Dennistoun Community Together (DCT), and then by Dennistoun Community Council (DCC) since 2011.
On Tuesday 11th October local MSP Paul Martin presented the 2011 Dennistoun Treasure Hunt prizes of a £25 book token, sponsored by Community Council, to the two winning children from each Dennistoun primary school.
The Dennistoun Treasure hunt is an event that was organised in 2009 and 2010 by Dennistoun Community Together. DCT is no longer active, but Dennistoun Community Council is proud to be able to ensure that the Treasure Hunt lives on!
