Opening nights, open days, music to open your mind… There’s something for all ages during an upcoming a busy weekend (and month!) of art and music in and adjacent to Dennistoun. Here’s a selection of what’s on:
As part of one of Scotland’s largest celebrations of visual art, Dennistoun Wasps Artists’ Studios on Hanson Street will be open to the public from 11am to 5pm on Saturday 1st, and 12 noon to 5pm on Sunday 2nd October 2011.
The Dennistoun Treasure hunt is an event that was organised in 2009 and 2010 by Dennistoun Community Together. DCT is no longer active, but Dennistoun Community Council is proud to be able to ensure that the Treasure Hunt lives on!
This is an informal meet-up aimed at getting you motivated to start or finish off any wooly projects! ‘Knotty Knitter’ will be on hand to show the basics to anyone who has no experience. Those with more know-how are welcome too.
Dennistoun Diggers are hosting two upcoming craft workshops in the Dennistoun community garden, which promise to be fun for all age groups.
