How to Vote

You don’t need ID. You don’t even need your polling card. Though you do need to have registered on the electoral roll in advance. Just head along to your local polling station on the day.

Polling Stations

Polling stations are open tomorrow from 7am until 10pm. If there’s a queue, you’ll still be able vote as long as you joined it before 10pm.

For those in the Glasgow Easterhouse and Springburn constituency (the majority of the DCC area) polling stations are listed here, and one of Haghill Park Primary School, Alexandra Parade Primary School, or St Denis’ Primary School will likely be the venue.

For those in Glasgow Central constituency (for the Reidvale portion of the DCC area, south of Duke Street) are listed here, and Reidvale Neighbourhood Centre will likely be the venue.

Checking Your Registration

If you registered to vote before Monday 20 April 2026, then you will be able to vote in this election. If you haven’t received your polling card, you can contact the Electoral Registration Office at Glasgow City Council on 0141 287 4444 or via voters.roll@fs.glasgow.gov.uk to confirm you are on the register. Accessibility

Everyone should be able to register and cast their vote without facing barriers. They should be able to vote on their own and in secret. The Elections Act 2022 introduces changes to further assist voters at polling stations. Information about accessibility at polling stations is provided here.
