The Scottish Government is keen to hear the views of children and young people on the proposals in Places, People and Planning which may directly affect them. Working with YoungScot, a short online survey has been commissioned to seek views of children and young people on how the place where they live, work or go to school should change in the future. On the 10th January 2017, Kevin Stewart MSP, Minister for Local Government and Housing, launched “Places, People and Planning: A consultation of the future of the Scottish Planning System”.

£15,000 will be given out in grants to local organisations in Dennistoun, Haghill, Alexandra Parade, Carntyne, Cranhill, Riddrie, and Gartcraig.
Approved minutes of the Dennistoun Community Council AGM and ordinary meeting held on Tuesday 11th October 2016 are now available at dennistouncc.org.uk/minutes. Notes from the meetings held on 8th November and 13th December 2016 are also available, but these are for information only as the meetings were not quorate.
