Dennistoun Community Council, in conjunction with architectural practice Dress for the Weather, have a created a free fold out guide to our area called A Day Out In Dennistoun. It features an A2-sized map of the area noting locations of interest, with a wealth of background information on the rear of the map.
The next ordinary meeting of Dennistoun Community Council will take place on Tuesday 12th January, 7pm at Haghill Park Primary School, 415 Cumbernauld Road, G31 3LS.

Alexandra Park is one of Glasgow’s most significant parks, one of four designed by Sir Joseph Paxton. The 104 acre park takes its name from Princess Alexandra, the wife of the future King Edward VII, who officially opened the Park in 1870. The highest point of the park gives views north to Ben Lomond and south to Tinto hills. The City Improvement Trustees purchased the park in 1866 from Mr Walter Stewart of Haghill.

Impact Arts is looking for people of all ages and abilities from Dennistoun to take part in a community drama project.
