The next meeting of Dennistoun Community Council will take place on Tuesday 10th June, 7pm at the Gingerbread Hall, 128 Armadale Street, Dennistoun, G31 2TL.

Dennistoun Big Lunch 2014

On Saturday 31st May, from 1-3pm, Dennistoun Community Council will be hosting a Big Lunch in Dennistoun (in Dennistoun Village’s ‘Buffallo Bill Square’ at the corner of Whitehill Street and Finlay Drive).

Glasgow Caledonian University are hosting a free public lecture: “How to Run 100 Metres (in 90 Minutes!)”.
Citizens Advice Bureau Outreach Service

Bridgeton Citizens Advice Bureau are running a new outreach service in Dennistoun.
The Duke Street Expo

The Duke Street Expo will take place on Saturday 31st May 2014 as part of the East End Social programme of concerts, events and workshops, appealing to visitors and East End residents of all ages. The East End Social is an official Culture 2014 event.
Helping People Through Welfare Reform

A community information event has been organised by Glasgow’s Poverty Leadership Panel and North East Area Delivery Group – organisations working to address poverty in the city.
Young Scot Free Football

Before the venue is handed over for the Commonwealth Games, a Free Football scheme is being run at the Emirates Arena for Glasgow Young Scot card holders, until Friday 6th June, with a view to extending this beyond the Games.

Glasgow Life has unveiled a 12 week multi-activity pilot programme at Crownpoint, for adults with a disability.
