Further to previously published information about the early stage proposals and public meeting regarding the former Golfhill School (which can be found here, and here), the Architect working on behalf of the Builder and Developer) made the following comment:
“From my perspective it was great to see such an active community council taking real interest in what is going on, being pragmatic and knowledgable about the process ahead. I hope I will be able to balance the ambitions of the both community and developer to achieve the best possible outcome.”
The Architect has spoken with GCC to provide feedback on matters raised during the public consultation.
The masterplan will now be developed in detail, in line with advice from GCC Planning, Heritage & Design and Historic Environment Scotland.
The Pre-application Consultation Report is scheduled for completion by Monday 24th April 2017, and will accommodate comments received before, during and following the public event.
