Simply Swap is Glasgow’s first fashion exchange. A shop that has been designed, decorated and will be run by a team of dedicated volunteers as part of Playbusters ‘Grow Green with Glasgow’s East End‘ programme, funded by the Climate Challenge Fund.
They are holding a grand opening on Friday, 12th April 2013 at the new store at 439 Duke Street, Dennistoun, G31 1RY. The shop will be trading from 9:30am, with the opening ceremony taking place at 1:00pm.
There will be music, refreshments, games, a prize draw, and more.
Don’t forget to bring something to swap – the shop offers the opportunity to exchange good condition clothing and fashion items for others new-to-you to reduce the amount of unwanted clothing that is thrown out.

The shop will also be a space to learn about waste reduction and recycling, take part in creative workshops and activities and get energy saving advice.
Simply Swap will be open on Thursdays from 9:30am until 5:00pm and Fridays from 9.30am until 3:00pm.
