Throughout March, Glasgow City Council, Glasgow 2014 Ltd and Police Scotland are holding local information sessions to help you find out more about what hosting the Games in Glasgow will mean for you.
These sessions will give you the chance to meet some of the people bringing world class sport to your doorstep, find out more about the Cultural events and Legacy projects across the city and speak to those who will be keeping the city open for business this summer. There will be lots of opportunity to ask any questions you may have, as well as the chance to hear the latest information.
All sessions will run from 5:30pm until 7:30pm, with a short presentation at 6pm, at the following East End locations:
- Thursday 6th March: Tollcross International Swimming Centre, 367 Wellshot Rd, G32 7QP.
- Thursday 13th March: Glasgow Green Hockey Centre, Glasgow Green, G40 1HB.
- Monday 24th March: Emirates Arena (and Athletes’ Village/Celtic Park), 1000 London Road, G40 3HG.
Phone 0141 276 1785 or e-mail NEAdminCustServiceHub@glasgowlife.org.uk or @GetReadyGlasgow for more info.
A further round of information sessions will be held in May when more specific detail around traffic management and parking measures for each venue is available.
