Alexandra Park Festival and Parade will take place on Saturday 20th July from 12 noon until 4pm (free entry).
A fun day out for all the family. The line-up includes live music, kids activities and inflatables, a live wrestling show, food and market stalls, and much more.
A carnival parade will kick start the event and leaves City Park, Alexandra Parade at 12 noon. Come join the fun!
Many East End community groups are involved in the Alexandra Park festival be it the parade or the festival itself – these include Bridgeton Community Learning Campus, Urban Fox, FARE, Royston Youth Action, Milnbank Housing Association, PEEK, Platform’s Art Factory, RAPA and Rosemount Learning Centre.
In addition, there will be a day of fun at the Cycle Hub (by the bowling greens). It is all free. There will be food, music, an inflatable slide, bouncy castle, tennis and cycling activities including a bike maintenance drop in session. Also 12 noon until 4pm.
