Volunteers are being sought for a Junior Parkrun to be held in Alexandra Park on Sundays at 9:30am for 4 to 14 year-olds. The event is to be weekly but volunteers would help on a rotational basis. Taking place on Saturday 22 July between 12 and 4pm, there will be live music, food and market stalls, kids activities, free face painting, live wrestling, rides and inflatables. Entry is free.

On Saturday 23rd July, after a 2 year break, the Alexandra Park Festival and Parade returns! Taking place between 12 noon and 4 pm, with live music, food and market stalls, kids activities, free face painting, free balloon modelling from Balloons Gloria, live wrestling, rides and inflatables. There will also be a fire engine on site for tours, and two vintage buses from the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust.
