Dennistoun Community Council (DCC) has 5 vacancies: 3 are due to retirement of long-standing members; 2 are newly created as DCC has increased from 15 to 17 members.

On Tuesday 9th October the DCC Chair presented the 2012 Dennistoun Treasure Hunt prizes to the winning children from each Dennistoun primary school.
The Dennistoun Treasure hunt is back! It’s an event that has taken place yearly since 2009, firstly hosted by Dennistoun Community Together (DCT), and then by Dennistoun Community Council (DCC) since 2011.
Brownies and Guides meet on Thursday evenings in St Andrews East Church 685 Alexandra Parade, Glasgow, G31 ELH.
The latest approved minutes, for the December 2011 meeting, have now been uploaded to the Minutes section of the site. and are available for public viewing. As ever, the minutes contain a police report, elected member reports, committee reports, DCC action plan updates, etc.
The Applications section has also been updated with the most recent planning application report – December 2011. This is a handy review of all recent applications relevant to the Dennistoun Community Council Area. Where applicable, brief summary comments are made. On occasion, DCC may submit or support a formal objection to an application.
On Tuesday 11th October local MSP Paul Martin presented the 2011 Dennistoun Treasure Hunt prizes of a £25 book token, sponsored by Community Council, to the two winning children from each Dennistoun primary school.
The Dennistoun Treasure hunt is an event that was organised in 2009 and 2010 by Dennistoun Community Together. DCT is no longer active, but Dennistoun Community Council is proud to be able to ensure that the Treasure Hunt lives on!
