This weekend, Wasps Artists’ Studios on Hanson Street are opening their doors to the public. Get along meet artists and get a peek into the world of an artist in their studio.
The building hosts an array of artists/makers including painters, sculptors, jewellers, textile artists and multi-media arts.
The Factory Café will be open for coffee, tea, cold drinks and wonderful lunches as well as superb cakes on both days.
Free workshops include life drawing class (kids and adults welcome) and wet felting workshop, noon till 1pm, on Saturday 3rd. Also: Saw-Your-Child-In-Half!
There will be a treasure hunt and spoon-forging demo on Sunday 4th, 2-3pm.
