Necropolis Tours 2014
Due to the success of the tours in 2013, The Friends of Glasgow Necropolis are delighted to announce their walking tour dates for 2014. These informal and informative tours of the Glasgow Necropolis will be undertaken, weather permitting, as per the dates noted below.
Glasgow’s ‘Parklife’ Competition
From the Necropolis, which provides a safe haven for 180 species of flowering plants and trees, to the duck pond at Alexandra Park, Dennistoun’s parks also host a diversity of flora and fauna, attracting interest from scientists and nature-lovers alike. And now there’s a chance to celebrate them as part of a citywide competition being run by the Glasgow Science Festival.
Glasgow Doors Open Day 2012
Glasgow Doors Open Day is a free festival taking place on the 15th and 16th September 2012 – the 23rd year that Glasgow has hosted the event. It provides a great chance for Glaswegians to become tourists in their own city for a day.

Open Day at Glasgow Necropolis
On Saturday 16th April, from 12 to 3pm, The Friends of Glasgow Necropolis will take half hourly introductory tours of the Necropolis.
