The Dennistoun to Cranhill Liveable Neighbourhood Stage 2 report was published via the most recent meeting of the Environment and Liveable Neighbourhoods City Policy Committee.
It can be viewed via this link or clicking on the below cover page image (NB: 43 Mb PDF file). The full set of committee documents can be viewed here. The GCC publicity article can be found here.
Much of the information delivered by the report was provided in our Update on Progressing Beyond The Liveable Neighbourhood Longlist news post, but there are some visualisations, concept designs and costings for ‘Dennistoun Railway Bridges’, and ‘Hogarth Park Improvements’ projects selected from the Stage 1 longlist.
The committee report confirms what we were advised of in the GCC update response:
- Funding applications to Sustrans were submitted in October 2022 for: the Hogarth Park and Active Travel Route project; the Carntyne Civic Square project; and the Riddrie Town Centre projects. If successful, those projects will progress to detailed and technical design (Stage 3-4) during 2023/24.
- The ‘Dennistoun Railway Bridges’ project will not progress any further without a source of funding being identified.
