The Parade Artists Christmas Shopping Week will be held daily from 10am until 4pm, from Saturday 24th November through to Sunday 2nd December at Wasps Studios, 77 Hanson Street, Glasgow G31 2HF. There will be late night opening until 8pm on Thursday 29th November.

The Dennistoun choir is back! After the success of 2017’s In the Beginning, tickets are going on sale for this year’s concert! The choir needed a bigger show-stopping venue so while the show might not be in Dennistoun this year, it’s full of our local performers (based at St Andrew’s East Parish Church on Alexandra Parade for Monday rehearsals)!

MEND is a drop-in workshop in a friendly space where you’ll learn to repair your clothes. Too many mend-able clothes are thrown away, so come along and prolong the life of your favourite jumper.

Market Gallery is delighted to invite you to the preview of an exhibition by artist Jasleen Kaur.

Alexandra Park Festival takes place on Saturday 28th July 2018, from noon until 4pm. Entry is free.

Dennistoun Councillor Kim Long has arranged a drop-in meeting with Glasgow Airport in relation to the new flightpath consultation, to allow members of the public to meet directly with airport staff and find out how these changes may affect them. This meeting will be held between 5pm and 8pm on Wednesday 28th March at Whitehill Secondary School, Onslow Drive, Dennistoun, G31 2QF.

The “Festival 2018 Our Place Fund” is for community groups to put on cultural events and arts activities within their area before and during the 2018 European Championships in Glasgow. Proposals have now been submitted and everyone in Glasgow has the chance to vote to choose which projects are funded. Alexandra Park Festival needs your votes.
